SAN DIEGO  September 4, 2007 Mori Seiki USA, Inc., a leading manufacturer of CNC machine tools, has automated its entire marketing collateral ordering system with a new Web portal built by Yamagata America.
The Fulfillment Management System (FMS) lets sales offices and distributors throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico simply log on to order product catalogs and brochures whenever they are needed. As soon as an order is submitted, the FMS facilitates approval from Mori Seiki’s marketing team. Then, depending on availability of stock, it ships the exact number of pieces ordered within one business day.
Currently, Mori Seiki’s FMS has over 100 catalogs are available for viewing and ordering. Sales personnel can quickly learn exact inventory levels, catalog names, catalog numbers, backorders, ordering frequency, etc in real time. This information enables Mori Seiki’s marketing team to more easily develop sales and marketing programs.
