DriveCam Inc.,
a worldwide leader in Driver Risk Management,
has adopted YAMAGATA AMERICA’s new
XLdoc Web portal. DriveCam marketing personnel
and sales distributors log into XLdoc from
anywhere in the world to create, update,
translate and print brochures when and where
they are needed.
“DriveCam has sales partners and distributors
on five continents, and XLdoc puts them
all on the same page,” said Kathleen
Glass, DriveCam marketing director. “We
are benefiting from improved communication,
tighter control over our brand presentation,
perfect translations, and tremendous print
quality. Plus, XLdoc virtually eliminates
the high cost of shipping brochures.”
Once DriveCam creates a brochure, marketing
personnel and sales distributors can order
printed copies in the exact quantities required
via the XLdoc Document Ordering application.
The system interfaces seamlessly with YAMAGATA’s
global network of digital and offset printers.
When an online order is approved, it is
emailed to the YAMAGATA office near the
final destination and printed on HP Indigo
printers in quantities of 50 or more. The
order is then shipped regionally to the
final destination.
YAMAGATA is currently developing templates,
translations and pre-approved images for
DriveCam’s XLdoc Content Manager.
Once all of these elements are loaded, DriveCam
marketing personnel will have even more
ways to customize brochures for customers
with different languages and cultures. Even
with this high level of customization, XLdoc
will continue to preserve DriveCam’s
brand from piece to piece.
XLdoc Key Benefits:
• Tight control over brand
presentation
• Outstanding print quality
• Reduces waste associated with printing
obsolete collateral materials
• Saves time by significantly reducing
interactions marketing personnel have with
copywriters and designers.
